Company Appoints Current Chairman Roger Harrison PhD to President; Robert D. Prunetti to CEO and Tim Parshall to Executive Vice President for Corporate Development 

Performance Health Technologies Inc. (PHT), a leader in the development and marketing of innovative products that guide and monitor exercise, announced management changes to its current executive team designed to drive the next stage of growth for the company. Roger Harrison, PhD, the company’s current chairman of the board, has been appointed as president. Robert D. Prunetti has been appointed to the position of chief executive officer; he previously served as the company’s president and chief executive officer. Current board member, Tim Parshall, will serve as executive vice president for corporate development.

“My tenure as Chairman of the Board of Directors of PHT has given me a deep understanding of the company, which will help formulate our strategies for growth and success,” said Harrison. “I look forward to further building from the strong foundation in place and to capitalize on the great opportunities in our focused sector of the healthcare industry.”

As a member of the Board, Dr. Harrison has played a major role in shaping PHT’s business strategy over the past 3 years. His professional background includes 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Performance Health Technologies’ Board of Directors, Dr. Harrison held senior positions at Eli Lilly and Company and as CEO and President of Antares Pharma, a publicly-traded specialty pharmaceutical company.

Robert D. Prunetti has served as the company’s president and chief executive officer since March of 2006, during which time he has reengineered the company, launching new marketing and product development strategies. Under his leadership, PHT has become a fully reporting public company. Mr. Prunetti has also served as President of Phoenix Ventures, a business development and public relations and management consulting firm. From January 1992 until December 2003, Mr. Prunetti also served as the Mercer County Executive. Mr. Prunetti is a graduate of the College of New Jersey and possesses a Masters Degree from New York University.

Tim Parshall brings over twenty five in years experience in global healthcare strategy, marketing and business development. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies, not-for-profits, as well as small healthcare businesses in a number of different capacities. His work in the Pharmaceutical and Medical device areas has always been commercially focused, working primarily in marketing, corporate planning and licensing. These assignments have allowed him to lead very early stage opportunities all that way through to the commercialization of mega brands.

Most recently, Mr. Parshall served as director of corporate marketing and planning at Guidant Corporation prior to it being acquired by Boston Scientific. He played an integral role in the marketing integration between the business units and creating new markets segments. Prior to Guidant, Tim spent 13 years at Eli Lilly & Company in sales and marketing. Tim has a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from AGSM at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
